AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 28-year-old man wanted in connection with an armed robbery.

Deputies say Cameron Bryce Renew is wanted for the armed robbery at the Circle K at 261 Furys Ferry Road on Wednesday.

According to the incident report, the cashier stated that a white male wearing a green camouflage sweater and blue jeans entered the store, brandished a small-framed firearm, and said, “Put the phone down and give me the money.”

The cashier says the suspect took around $200 and fled on foot in the direction of Riverwatch Parkway.

Deputies set up a perimeter around the wooded area near the business and deployed K-9 to search the area, the report states.
