NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands has an important update on SNAP benefits amid a turbulent time for the program.

Those who were already receiving benefits before the November pause will not need to reapply. The society says those cases should automatically resume, unless the participant is due for renewal.

Those who do need to reapply should have received a request for documents in the mail.

Anyone who doesn’t know their renewal date or application status can check in any of the following places:

OneDHS Portal

EBT Edge App

Or contact your local DHS office.
