Charges have been dropped against a self-described online vigilante who was arrested last month at the Forest City Film Festival.

Jason Nassr, 45, the brainchild behind the now-defunct Creeper Hunter TV, was charged on Oct. 27 at Citi Plaza near the Wolf Performance Hall, where the documentary Shamed – which chronicles his controversial online activities – was being screened. Several family members of Nassr’s former online targets were in attendance.

Nassr had been held in custody on two counts of criminal harassment and one count of breaching a court order. He was denied bail after a hearing earlier this month.

But on Thursday, when Nassr was set to have a judicial pre-trial at the London courthouse, the Crown dropped all charges, citing no reasonable prospect of conviction.
