The Community Foundation Boulder County has awarded about $29,000 to 12 nonprofits through the One Lafayette fund, supporting organizations that provide food assistance, safety-net services, youth support and community programming in Lafayette.

This year’s recipients are Coal Creek Adult Education Center, Coal Creek Meals on Wheels, Community Food Share, Imagine!, Rise Against Suicide, Rocky Mountain Legal Center, Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence, Sister Carmen Community Center, Thorne Nature Experience, Arts Hub, WOW! Children’s Museum and YMCA of Northern Colorado.

The One Lafayette grant program began in the early 2000s as a city-run fundraiser and was formalized in 2008 when the city made a contribution of “seed money” to an endowment fund managed by the Community Found
