Pennsylvania State Police on Thursday charged a 40-year-old Lancaster County woman with two felonies after a boy she was babysitting drowned last month .
Anna M. King, of Paradise, is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children, a second-degree felony, after she failed to supervise her 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old boy she was babysitting, police said.
Around 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 23, troopers were dispatched to King’s residence on the 1500 block of Mine Road in Salisbury Township for a 2-year-old boy who drowned .
The boy fell into a swimming pond on the property while King was leaf-blowing, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
