A crash in York County Thursday night temporarily closed a section of Interstate 83 south, according to PennDOT.
The crash took place around 7:10 p.m. between exit 21 for US 30 East — Arsenal Road and exit 19b for PA 462 West — Market Street.
A backlog of standstill traffic was seen immediately after the highway closure at exit 21 around 8:30 p.m. Northbound traffic was seen flowing normally.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash or if anyone was injured. The York County Office of Emergency Management listed the crash with entrapment.
By 9 p.m., all lanes in the area had reopened, according to 511PA.com .
