CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Old Town Clovis was transformed into a festive holiday destination Thursday as the community celebrated the 25th annual "One Enchanted Evening."
Despite rainy weather, shoppers filled the streets with umbrellas in hand, browsing local boutiques and enjoying seasonal decorations.
For small business owners, the event marks the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season.
"It's a rain-or-shine event, so it's going to happen no matter what," said Jennifer Green, owner of Once Upon A Time. "That doesn't stop the Clovis community. They will come out. Trust me."
Organized by the Business Organization of Old Town, this year's celebration had the theme "Old Town Clovis Country Christmas."
