LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A Lansing small business is giving back to the community with a free food pantry pop-up.
Flesh Piercings, a piercing shop in Lansing’s Old Town, will provide free food and household goods for those in need.
The pantry will be open during regular business hours: Tuesday, Thursday Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
The shop is closed Mondays and Wednesdays.
“Supporting our community isn’t an obligation for us, it is a responsibility we embrace because Lansing built us. Our clients and neighbors have supported us, encouraged us, and helped us grow,” said a Flesh Piercings spokesperson.
“With food insecurity rising and many families unsure where their next meal is coming from, we believe it is only right to give back... in a mom
