CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Where is Madalina Cojocari ? It’s a question that still perplexes local, state and federal investigators.

Cojocari was last seen getting off her school bus in Cornelius, North Carolina on Nov. 21, 2022. She was 11 years old and in sixth grade at the time.

“That’s the last known video of her,” said Cornelius police Chief David Baucom. “No neighbors had any security footage, no other footage anywhere else … We have not uncovered any other footage of her at all.”

Cojocari’s bus stop was right by her home, so she wouldn’t have had to walk far to get there.

“It’s just as perplexing today as the day it all started evolving before us, almost three years ago,” Baucom said. “Our goal from the start has been to find Madalina.”
