CHICO, Calif. — On Thursday, detectives from the Chico Police Investigations Bureau carried out search warrants early in the morning as part of an active shooting investigation that resulted in one arrest.
Chico Police officials say that at 7 a.m., search warrants were conducted at homes on the 200 block of Tonea Way and the 700 block of Nord Avenue.
The Chico Police Department's Crisis Response Unit, including SWAT, crisis negotiators, and drone operators, supported the operations.
One person was taken into custody without incident and arrested in connection with the investigation.
