Seth Schrammeck, accused of hitting and killing a pedestrain in Spokane Valley on November 14, had his arraignment hearing at the Spokane County Courthouse.
Schrammeck pleaded not guilty to one count of vehicular homicide related to the crash near East Broadway Avenue and North Sullivan Road.
Deputies reported that Schrammeck claimed he didn't see the woman he hit until it was too late.
He admitted to drinking that evening and registered a blood alcohol level of 0.03.
Schrammeck's defense requested amended conditions of release to allow him to travel from Washington to Idaho for work while awaiting trial.
He has a trial readiness hearing scheduled for January 2026, with the trial set to begin on February 9.
