MIDDLEBURG — A California judge has paved the way for the extradition of a man accused of threatening to kill two women in Snyder County.

The judge, following an identification hearing on Wednesday in Los Angeles, determined the man in custody there is Daniel Bozin, and he is wanted in Pennsylvania.

Snyder County District Attorney Heath Brosius said he has already applied for a governor’s warrant that is required for extradition. Once signed by Gov. Josh Shapiro, it will be sent to California, he said.

Once the warrant is received, a California court, after reviewing the documented evidence in the Snyder County case, will order extradition, Brosius said.

Because Bozin, 48, of Beverly Hills, is fighting extradition, the process could take up to 90 days, he said. He will seek high bail w
