MESA, Ariz. — An East Valley couple is asking for the public’s help identifying two men they said tried to break into their home early Saturday morning.

Callie Morrow and Nico Ricchetti said they were asleep in their Mesa home when two men spent roughly 10 minutes in their backyard, peering through windows, including into bedrooms where Ricchetti’s 15-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter were sleeping.

“So creepy,” Morrow said.

The couple said the two didn’t speak to each other until one noticed the security camera watching them. One man put on his hat and tried to cover his face before the pair took down the camera and stole it.

It happened around 5 a.m. on Saturday. Morrow and Ricchetti didn’t realize what occurred until they noticed the camera was missing and reviewed the footage.
