Orange County is included in a flash flood warning released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 10 p.m. The warning is in effect until Friday Nov. 21, at midnight.
“At 10 p.m., Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.7 to 0.8 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly,” according to the NWS San Diego CA . “Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.”
Locations impacted by the warning include Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Stanton, Seal Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley and Cypress.
