West Midlands Metro has issued a warning to those 'putting themselves and others at risk' ahead of a new campaign.
The campaign introduces a series of short, informative videos that highlight "common mistakes" like rushing through closing doors, trying to force doors open or blocking exits.
The initiative focused on "tram door etiquette" comes as the network prepares for the opening of Birmingham Eastside Extension.
Don Walters, Metro’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager, said: “The vast majority of customers behave responsibly when getting on or off the tram, but we sometimes see people putting themselves and others at risk, particularly when they are in a hurry, thus rushing towards the closing doors.
