TIFFIN, Ohio — A man showed up at a home as his wife was attempting to move out, shooting the woman’s two young children and a man who was helping her move before turning the gun on himself, police say.
A news release from the Tiffin Police Department says the shooting occurred just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Huss Street.
The woman was in the process of moving out of the residence because of ongoing domestic issues involving her husband, Ryan Eagon, 42, police say. Dustin Willey, 29, the father of the woman’s 7-year-old son, was helping her move. The woman also had a 7-month-old child.
The woman thought Eagon was out of town working, police say. While inside the home, Willey and the woman heard the 7-year-old son cry out from outside the house, police say.
