COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station police are investigating after a man was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening on Dartmouth Street near the Huntington Apartments, between Harvey Road and Holleman Drive.

The incident happened in the roadway, prompting the closure of Dartmouth to traffic.

A police spokesman shared that the victim has serious injuries.

Officers are on scene to piece together what happened.

Drivers are urged to avoid Dartmouth Street while the investigation continues.
