A GOP office was left with a shattered glass door after an act of vandalism on Wednesday, Nov. 20, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

The front entrance of the Delaware County Republican Party's headquarters was damaged during the incident, which the organization described as “yet another disturbing example of the rising hostility directed at Republicans across our communities,” the release said.

“There is absolutely no room for violence in our political discourse,” officials wrote, adding that disagreements are part of democracy but “smashing windows is not.”

The organization called for county and statewide Democratic leaders to “denounce this behavior clearly and unequivocally,” stating that “silence is complicity,” according to the release.

The Delco GOP said it plans to “continue to stand strong, do our work, and fight for our values.”

Police did not immediately release details on suspects or a possible motive.
