The number of encounters with migrants along the Arizona-Mexico line decreased by 54 from September 2025 to October 2025.

The virtually unchanged number of encounters in Border Patrol's Tucson and Yuma sectors comes after a steady increase in the number of encounters from July 2025 to September 2025.

In October 2025, there were 1,902 encounters in Border Patrol's Tucson and Yuma sectors, which was a slight decrease of about 3% from the 1,956 encounters in September 2025, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data.
