Burglary at homeowner and tenants’ rooms at Kadamtala

Agartala, 21 st November 2025: A daring burglary rattled residents of Kadamtala Gram Panchayat’s Ward No. 6 last night, targeting both the homeowner’s residence and tenants under the same roof.

It is reported that the house belongs to Archana Nath, widow of the late Jontu Nath. With Archana currently unwell, her son and daughter-in-law had taken the family to Bangalore for medical treatment, leaving the property vacant. Around 9 p.m., tenant Binoy Das, son of late Subodh Ranjan Das of Tarakpur Gram Panchayat’s Ward No. 3, returned home for urgent work and discovered the locks on the owner’s room broken.
