Agartala, 21 st November 2025: Acting on specific intelligence received from DRI Agartala regarding the movement of a large consignment of Yaba tablets from Agartala towards Bishramganj via NH-08, a joint operation was launched by BSF and DRI on Friday morning.

At about 0830 hrs, a Mobile Check Post was established in front of Gate No. 01 of SHQ BSF Gokulnagar. During checking, a Suzuki Eeco Van bearing registration number TR01CH-0353 attempted to evade the MCP and fled towards Udaipur via the Bishalgarh Bypass Road, prompting an immediate pursuit by the joint team.

At about 0930 hrs, the vehicle was found abandoned near Kalkaliya High School. The area was cordoned off and a thorough search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of ten packets of Yaba tablets weighi
