Agartala, 21st November 2025: Tripura’s rural transformation efforts drew national spotlight on Friday as Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, CEO of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), presented the progress of Project TRIPTI at the CEO Conclave underway at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi, attended by representatives from 21 states.
Chakma reported that Project TRIPTI, launched with an investment of ₹15 crore, has already supported 4,000 households in Ambassa, Ganganagar and Dasda blocks through enterprise support, financial access, market linkages and skilling. The interventions have resulted in annual income enhancement of up to ₹20,000 per family.
He detailed three major livelihood expansion missions targeting ST, SC, PVTG and economically vulnerable households in remote regions
