KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office found more than three pounds of fentanyl, a stolen gun and more than $30,000 in cash during a drug bust near Knoxville Christian School, according to a report obtained by WVLT News.
The bust happened Wednesday around 11:30 p.m. at an apartment at 1134 Scenic Loop Way in West Knox County, the report said. That address is only about 1,000 feet from the school’s building and even closer to the school’s sports fields.
“During a search of the apartment, I located approximately 1,372 grams of a white powder believed to be fentanyl, 700 grams of marijuana, packaging, respirators, digital scales, mixing bowls, baggies, cutting agent, a Taurus handgun, a Mossberg shotgun and a hydraulic press,” the report said. 1,372 grams is just over th
