SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - Sedgwick County Fire District 1 is investigating a house fire that left a family trapped and a firefighter in trouble Friday morning in Park City.

Around 4:00 a.m., Friday morning, November 21, 2025, a house fire with multiple people inside was reported at 6656 N. Kerman in Park City, Kansas. First responding Sedgwick County Fire District 1 (SCFD 1) found a single-family home with heavy smoke coming from the residence. Firefighters located one man on scene, who told them there were 6 other people still in the home, Sedgwick County Department of Communications says in a press release.
