KENT COUNTY, MI - Hundreds of Girl Scouts experienced the state’s first DreamLab on Thursday, Nov. 20, serving as a hub for creativity, exploration and sisterhood.
Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore (GSMISTS) cut the ribbon on the new DreamLab at 3782 29th St. SE in Kentwood. It marks the ninth location in the nation.
“The Girl Scout experience inspires girls to discover and pursue what excites them, and the Girl Scout DreamLab provides a dedicated space to support that journey,” said Vivian TerMaat, CEO of Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore. “Here, girls can immerse themselves in new interests—whether it’s learning to speak up for themselves by recording a podcast, building a robot, or mastering their first camping knot."
