Good morning, Bay City.
I’ve been focusing more on gratitude lately, probably because the holiday season is approaching, but it’s something I try to remember to do throughout the year.
I keep a little notebook with a running list of things I’m thankful for — big things like my family and my health or small things like a walk with a friend or a kid-free Target run with an iced coffee in hand. I add to the list from time to time and revisit it when I’m having a hard day or feeling down. It helps me refocus and recalibrate.
Added to the list this week: pumpkin pie.
My husband and I make several each year for Thanksgiving get-togethers and just about everybody loves it, especially our younger son, who started asking “When is Thanksgiving?” in March this year.
