ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The No. 1 question facing Michigan this week: Will Jordan Marshall suit up and play against Maryland?
The redshirt freshman suffered a shoulder injury in last week’s win over Northwestern, but the Wolverines left Wrigley Field feeling optimistic about Marshall’s status moving forward. Head coach Sherrone Moore said X-rays for a break came back negative, a good sign for the foreseeable future.
What where are things with Marshall nearly a week later? It’s unclear. Moore still projected optimism earlier in the week, but not with the clarity that we expected. “Feel good about where he’s at, but we’ll see,” Moore said. “We’ll just take it day by day.”
