WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — Several organizations in and around Ann Arbor will offer free Thanksgiving meals and items this year to make Turkey Day a little easier.

Here are a few sites in Washtenaw County that will serve free meals on Thanksgiving Day, which is Thursday, Nov. 27.

Hope Clinic, 518 Harriet St. in Ypsilanti

Stop by Ypsilanti’s Hope Clinic for a Thanksgiving meal from 5 to 6 p.m. on the holiday.

The grab-and-go meals will be available to anyone needing a meal that day. Throughout the year, the clinic offers hot meals from 5 to 6 p.m. every day of the week besides Wednesdays.

The organization will also give away Thanksgiving baskets full of items to prepare a holiday meal from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, or until supplies last.
