COLUMBUS, Ohio — The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians has opened a 60-day public comment period on a proposed resolution to create a new EMS Advisory Group.
Resolution 25-17 calls for establishing an advisory panel of 10–15 representatives from across the EMS community. The group would meet at least twice a year and be chaired by the immediate past chair of the National Registry’s Board of Directors, or another member of the executive committee if necessary, according to a NREMT statement .
The EMS Advisory Group would provide insights and recommendations to the Board to strengthen communication with the broader EMS community and bring in external perspectives. The group would serve strictly in an advisory capacity. All governance and decision-making authority wou
