South Minneapolis restaurant and bar Nighthawks is returning after a month-long refresh.

Nighthawks will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 3753 Nicollet Ave. in the Kingfield neighborhood, following a temporary closure that began in mid-October for an aesthetic and culinary revamp.

The new food menu features an updated selection of snacks, handhelds, entrées, and desserts, including a spicy fried chicken sandwich, pesto linguini, and a roast turkey platter.

Adjustments were made to Nighthawk's cocktail program as well, but popular signatures like the Mary Tyler Moore can still be found on the list. There are also more than a dozen beers on tap, a curated wine list, and zero-proof cocktails.
