‘What about her daughters?’: Cleveland family plans to spend holiday season without loved one

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland family is preparing to spend their first holiday season without their loved one. Police say a young mom was shot and killed earlier this month by her boyfriend.

“This will be the first year without my Steffi at Christmas or Thanksgiving,” said Tuckora Aikens.

Stefani Aikens’s mom said her daughter loved the holidays.

“She loved to collect snow globes. Even if there were at the Goodwill, the Dollar Tree, online. She loved collecting snow globes,” said Tuckora Aikens.

Tuckora now holds those snow globes close. It’s a memory of her daughter. She told 19 News Stefani was a mother to 4 beautiful little girls.

“I miss her. I love her. I am going to keep her memory alive. I’m going to love my grand-dolls. That’s what I call them,” said Tuckora Aikens.
