INDIANA, USA — Indiana has had more reported bird flu cases in commercial and backyard flocks than any other state in the last 30 days.

Out of 81 total confirmed flocks that tested positive for having HPAI in the United States, 38 of those flocks reside in the Hoosier State, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Nineteen other states also reported infected flocks in the last 30 days, including; Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas.
