WICHITA FALLS, Texas ( KAUZ /Gray News) - The world’s oldest bus driver is still behind the wheel and even getting worldwide attention.
Raymond Hagar says every stop is a reminder of why he still works. He’s 95 years old and doesn’t get tired of hitting the city streets.
Hagar has driven many routes during his nearly three decades of bus driving in Wichita Falls and has had his hands on the gears for nearly his entire life.
“I just don’t get tired of driving. I just don’t know why, but I get more tired at home than I do driving. Honestly. If I get about four or five hours of sleep, I’m good,” he said.
And what keeps him going? Some could say his positive attitude.
