The City of Grand Junction celebrated the completion of construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Horizon Drive, 27 Road and G Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday.
“We’re investing in safe, reliable and common-sense infrastructure that supports our local businesses,” Mayor Cody Kennedy said.
Kennedy said the Horizon Drive corridor is important because it is the first glimpse many visitors get of Grand Junction.
“The corridor plays a major role in how people experience Grand Junction,” Engineering and Transportation Director Trent Prall said.
