Srinagar, Nov 21: Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board & Minister of State, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, on Friday said the tourism in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed resurgence since 2019.

“Despite efforts by adversaries to destabilise the region, the people and the government are committed to peace and progress,” Dr Andrabi said while addressing the 14th General Meeting and Tourism Promotion Event of the Tourist Trade Interest Guild (TTIG) in Srinagar as the Chief Guest.

She said, “Our tourism industry experienced a boom after 2019, and despite attempts to destabilise us through violence and bloodshed, we will recover and flourish again.”
