Napoleon’s girls basketball program had a historic amount of success the last time Corey Kreinbrink was in charge of the program.

With the mentor back at the helm of the Wildcats after spending the last two seasons as Dublin Coffman’s girls basketball coach, it will be interesting to see if Napoleon can not only continue its strong play in the Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division, but get back to being a force across northwest Ohio and on a state-wide level.

Napoleon, which shared the 2024-25 Cardinal Division title with Fremont Ross, was the slight favorite over the Little Giants to win this year’s league championship, according to a preseason coaches’ poll. The Wildcats (34 points) received four first-place votes, while Fremont Ross (25) received the other two.
