Police said a former dean at a New Orleans-area school was arrested last month on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and they believe there may be additional victims.
Victor Ilarraza, 31, who previously worked at several local schools, was taken into custody on Oct. 17 following an investigation into a reported incident involving a juvenile.
"However, investigators believe there are additional potential incidents involving Ilarraza and other juvenile victims," the department said in a news release announcing his arrest.
Police noted that many of the alleged victims are Hispanic girls with limited English proficiency, which may have made them more vulnerable, officials said.
