WASHINTON DC (KOLO) - U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is one of 43 Senators raising concerns over El Salvador’s mega prison known as CECOT.

She, Tim Kaine(D-Virginia), Chris Van Hollen(D-MD) and 40 others sent a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem raising concerns about conditions at the facility.

Calling it a torture center, Cortez Masto accused the Trump administration of using taxpayer funds to send and hold people at the facility.
