SILVER SPRING, Md. — Police arrested a 20-year-old man in Prince George’s County in connection with a deadly shooting in downtown Silver Spring on Friday.
Neither the suspect’s nor the victim’s identities have been released.
According to Montgomery County investigators, the two were fighting when the suspect grabbed a gun and shot the victim.
The victim was suffering from gunshot wounds when police arrived at the scene in the area of Fenton Street and Richmond Avenue shortly after 2 p.m.
Investigators say the pair knew each other. They described the suspect as a “violent and dangerous person.”
