PULLMAN, Wash. – A man charged with starting a fire in a Pullman apartment has withdrawn his plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.
Elijah Reagan, 40, was arrested in October after reportedly setting off a firework that caused a fire , leaving the building uninhabitable.
Reagan is accused of also leading officers on a chase near Highway 195 and Highway 95, crossing into Idaho.
After being taken into custody, he was booked into Nez Perce County Jail for arson and attempting to elude police.
On Friday, Reagan withdrew his original plea and entered a plea of not guilty to all three counts.
