Active police scene on McDaniel Street in Atlanta

ATLANTA — There was an active scene off McDaniel Street, where Atlanta Police initially believed a man had been shot in the area

Video showed several APD cars and police tape blocking off the area. This is off of Northside Drive.

APD said officers located a man who appeared to have a gunshot wound. However, in an update, hospital staff later told police the victim's injuries were not consistent with a gunshot wound.

"It is believed the victim may have been injured from glass," APD said.
