MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Two people were critically injured in a crash on Thursday morning, according to the Maury County Fire Department.
MCFD crews were dispatched to Sulphur Springs Branch Road at around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday for reports of a crash involving entrapment.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find a truck crashed into a tree and two people inside the vehicle. MCFD said both occupants were critically injured and one of them was trapped in the truck.
The driver and passenger side doors were removed to get the occupant out of the truck.
Both occupants were taken to a trauma center for further treatment, MCFD said.
