AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Tyson Foods Amarillo location notified workers today of mass layoffs.
According to a letter sent to NewsChannel 10, Tyson Foods decided to consolidate shifts at the Amarillo complex.
B-shift positions will be eliminated as a result of the consolidation.
The letter says, “We anticipate B-shift operations at the Amarillo complex will cease on or about January 20, 2026.”
