SAGINAW, Texas — A boil water notice issued for some Saginaw residents was lifted Saturday after lab results confirmed no presence of contamination, officials say.
The city of Saginaw had issued shifting guidance to residents as officials worked to resolve water system issues that began after a storm-related equipment malfunction.
According to the city, a pump in the water system failed during a storm on Thursday evening but was manually reset by Public Works staff at about 7:42 p.m. Officials said the system began recharging immediately, with water pressure expected to return to normal shortly. The city emphasized that the problem was not caused by a leak and that the system remained secure.
