OMAHA, Neb. —
There is something new on the menu at Block 16, and it might send a chill down your spine.
It's a cricket quesadilla.
KETV spoke with co-owner Paul Urban about the interesting dish.
"It's a little quesadilla. It's on a raw grilled tortilla with asadero cheese, cilantro, onion, the crickets, some pinto beans, little chipotle and some salsa verde," he said.
When asked why Block 16 created the dish, Urban simply said "Why not?"
Now, he's encouraging everyone to come and try it.
"Yeah, grow up and try them. Come on, it's a cricket, man. Like they're they're delicious. They're edible. Eat like an adult. Just try it," Urban said.
