DERIDDER, La. (KPLC) - A DeRidder man will face over 11 years in prison for possessing child pornography.
On Nov. 6, Christopher Culton, 43, was sentenced to 135 months in prison after previously pleading guilty to possessing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Louisiana.
In 2024 , law enforcement received a tip that Culton, who had a prior federal conviction for possession child pornography, was maintaining a social media account that was being used to distribute child pornography.
A forensic exam of Culton’s cell phones confirmed prepubescent child pornography to be on both phones, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney John
