JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of three teenagers in connection to the October 19 murder of 64-year-old Roger Borkum in a release Friday night.
In an arrest report obtained by , the investigation revealed that the teenagers had battered Borkum three separate times between 9:44 p.m. and 10:48 p.m. on Oct. 19 on Hogan Street. The second beating occurred at 9:58 p.m. and shortly after, a witness found Borkum on the ground and called the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
JFRD responded and determined Borkum was not in need of medical treatment at that time and left the scene, the report says. The three suspects returned at 10:48 p.m., battered the victim again and proceeded to flee the area on foot. After the suspects fled, a second witness
