DILKON, AZ (AZFamily) — A federal grand jury has indicted five people in a triple murder case on the Navajo Nation three years ago.

On Sept. 30, Ryan Adelbert Johnson, Alexandra Johnson, Charles Lyle Truax, Mike Duffy, III, and Sherry Duffy were indicted for a robbery gone wrong where three people were shot and killed.

Prosecutors said murders happened in Teesto in March 2022. The community is about 70 miles north of Holbrook and 90 minutes northeast of Flagstaff. All five suspects are from Dilkon, Arizona , about 10 miles southeast of Teesto.

Charges against Ryan, Alexandra, Truax, and Duffy III include first-degree murder, deadly kidnapping, conspiracy to commit assault with a dangerous weapon and robbery, and discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence.
