Manlius, N.Y. — Two elderly people were taken to the hospital Friday night after a rollover crash in Manlius.
Around 5:32 p.m., first responders were called to a single-car rollover in the 7400 block of Collamer Road, according to a news release from the Manlius Police Department.
Winfield Babcock, 92, of East Syracuse, was driving east on Collamer Road in a Cadillac when he hit a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle on the south shoulder, police said. His wife, Marjorie Babcock, 91, of East Syracuse, was in the passenger seat.
The collision caused Babcock to lose control of the car, which rolled over and came to rest on its roof.
