GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A night of history for Rueben Chinyelu in front of a crowd of over 10,000 “Rowdy Reptiles” as he records 21 rebounds, the first time since 1982 that a Gator netted 20 or more boards in a single game. Florida dominated from the opening tip/off, 80-45.

The Gators scored the first 11 points of the game as Merrimack did not score until there were fewer than 15 minutes left in the half.

Alex Condon led the Gators to a white-flag waving 44 to 17 lead at the half. Condon finished the night with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and recorded a “double-double.”
